Reserving Manager Reserving Manager Role Profile

Premia Managing Agency are looking for a highly technical Reserving Manager to join their growing London based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role in an autonomous environment.

Reporting directly to the Chief Actuary and the Chief Risk Officer this is a high profile role in a growing Lloyds Managing Agency.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the reserving analyses used to set syndicate reserves, including preparation of materials for the syndicate reserving committee. As the reserving team leader, you will also be involved in a wide range of other activities including supporting parameterisation and validation of the capital model and support for due diligence and pricing of new deals.

The role has potential to grow as the scale of the syndicate increases through assumption of new books of business.

You will be either newly qualified or about to qualify and have experience working within the Lloyds of London Insurance market for a syndicate, managing agent or similar.

Capital Model Analyst Capital Model Analyst – Role profile

Premia Managing Agents are looking for a part qualified actuary to join their London based actuarial team.

As the capital modelling analyst you will support the Capital Model Actuary in delivering capital model outputs required to support the development of the business, including the Lloyd’s Capital return, calibration, capital optimisation analysis, and performance of model validation testing.

You will be responsible for maintaining and running the Remetrica based capital model and supporting the ongoing development of the capital model under the day to day guidance of the capital model actuary. As part of a small actuarial team you will also have the opportunity to gain broader exposure by supporting the reserving and due diligence activities of the department.

As the successful candidate you will be a part qualified actuary with experience working within the Lloyds of London Insurance industry.
