Compliance Analyst  Role Profile

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to work alongside the Head of Compliance to support the smooth running of this critical business support function.  Premia UKL is now entering into a period of growth and this is an excellent time to join a top tier run off reinsurance business.

The role will touch on all aspects relating to the compliance responsibilities of a UK regulated entity. Although this role will primarily focus on the Lloyd’s managing agency business, the successful candidate will be expected to offer compliance support to all of the Premia UK regulated entities. Qualifications are supported and this role is open to flexible working arrangements.

HR Assistant  Role Profile

Premia is looking for a HR Administrator/ Assistant to support the effective running of the day-to-day HR team by providing a full administrative and first line employee support service.

Syndicate Accountant Role-Profile

We are looking for a Syndicate Accountant to strengthen our Finance Team and be responsible for preparation of quarterly and annual Lloyd’s regulatory returns for syndicate and managing agency.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong Lloyd’s experience, who is an exceptional technical accountant.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of all Finance designated regulatory returns to Lloyd’s (and other regulators as required) in accordance with internal and published timetables – including QMA, QMB, QSR, QAD, ASR, AAD and QF1/AF1, and others that arise
  • Develop strong and in-depth understanding of dataflows which support the population of the GL and overall financial reporting
  • Maintain adequate procedures and controls
  • Contribute to improving overall quality and speed of reporting with efficient use of systems and tools
  • Responsible for production of annual syndicate, managing agent and corporate member accounts
  • Responsible for preparation of all relevant Lloyd’s tax returns
  • Provide evidence and assistance to external auditors as required

Senior Claims Adjuster  Role Profile

We are looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster to work on the Italian Medical Malpractice and PI Claims Portfolios, by investing, handling and resolving claims in proactive and professional manner, in line with the Company’s philosophy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring claims are settled at optimum figures with minimal leakage.
