Hochrhein Internationale Rückversicherung Aktiengesellschaft (HRIR) has been an indirect subsidiary of Premia Holdings Ltd since 9 July 2026. Premia Holdings Ltd is a Bermuda-based reinsurance group with operations across the United States, Bermuda, the United Kingdom and the European Union. HRIR is a reinsurance company specializing in the management of legacy run-off reinsurance portfolios supervised by the German financial regulator, the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) under register no. 6992. The management and administration of its run-off portfolios are supported by outsourced service arrangements under dedicated service agreements.
